One-to-One Tutoring

Students in the one-to-one program:

  • work on their own needs and goals
  • work individually with trained tutors
  • meet once or twice a week at a time and public place convenient for both tutor and student
  • work on reading, writing, computer skills and/or math skills
  • may use computers in their learning activities

Computer Lab

Students can come any weekday morning from 9:00 am - 12:00 am
1:00 pm -  3:00 pm
Monday to Thursday

*Note:  You will be assigned a scheduled session for one and half hours once or twice a week depending on availability
. Staff/Volunteers are available to help with learners’ literacy and essential skills needs.

Library

Program Read learners and volunteers may borrow books, tapes, etc. from our library at 169 Spring Street. Other community agencies may borrow resources from the library.

Small Group Classes,
169 Spring Street

Classes are kept small so that each student gets plenty of help and support. Learning activities include basic reading, writing, spelling, math and some computer work.


Employment Class times:  Tuesday and Wednesday am and pm
