Small Group Classes
Classes are kept small so that each student gets plenty of help and support. Learning activities include basic reading, writing, spelling, math and some computer work. New students may start at any time during the school year as long as there is room in the class.
One to One Tutoring
Students in the one-to-one program work on their own needs and goals, individually, with a trained tutor. They can meet once or twice a week at a time and public place convenient for both the tutor and the student. They may work on reading, writing, computer, and math skills. E-learning is also an option, using computers in their learning activities.
Computer labs are available to students Monday to Thursday from 9:00am to 12:00pm and 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Labs are available Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. If you would like assistance in the lab you can schedule a session for one and half hours once or twice a week depending on availability. We offer computer assisted literacy training. We combine computer training with your literacy needs. Staff/Volunteers are available to help with learners’ literacy and essential skills needs.
